GrossPay.co.uk is the website for a company based in Ramsgate, Kent which offers payroll services to companies throughout the UK. They needed a website that outlined their services, was attractive to visitors, and which featured well in search results.
The site is simple – just three pages plus a contact form. We built it using WordPress to allow for easy updating in the future. The main features of the design are:
- Prominent strapline to let the visitor see precisely what the site is about
- Plenty of whitespace around the image and content so that the visitor can focus on key content and the page doesn’t feel crammed with too much content
- Simple to use contact form to encourage the visitor to get in touch. And there’s an enticing ‘Contact us’ button just under the strapline
As well as the website design, we installed Google Analytics to monitor visitors to the site and we listed GrossPay with a number of local directories to help boost local search results. At the time of writing, it is number one in Google for the search term ‘payroll services ramsgate’.
